I will conduct a random drawing for 75 gift boxes ($100) over Christmas weekend: entries accepted now through Dec 23.
UPDATE: Per post #31 of this thread, hobbyt_tanker will donate an additional 25 boxes (HUGE THANK YOU) to the cause, which brings this to a 100 box giveaway! I think we will make this a prize for a 2nd player! I will follow the same procedures spelled out below when selection happens, the first player picked will get the 75 from me and the 2nd will get 25 from hobbyt.
I did this last year, but here is the idea: I would like to help out a player who may need some financial encouragement. To that end, the giveaway is limited to those who cannot financially afford to purchase gift boxes on their own.
Rules:
A) Player must NOT currently own any of the Tier 8 tanks available through Holiday Ops. (Char Mle. 75, BZ-176, M47 Iron Arnie, SMV CC-64 Vipera, AMBT). (I will look for any battles in these. I realize that a lack of games does not prove the player doesn't own these tanks but it is the best I can do.)
B) Player must NOT already own more than three (3) Tier 8 PREMIUM tanks. I know rentals show up in stats, so I will do my best to account for this.
C) Respond to this thread with your IGN if you honestly feel you qualify.
D) Please do not suggest other IGN's. If that suggested player is not active and is unaware of the drawing and wins and does not respond to my DM then it will waste everyone's time. Instead, just let them know about the drawing and they can enter themselves.
E) No re-roll accounts. Please be honest. I may not be able to accurately tell, but I will try to see if something seems "off" and will pick again at my discretion.
F) The account must have been created prior to this thread being posted.
Details:
1) Winner will be DM'd through this forum after being picked.
2) If the winner does not respond after 24 hours, I will pick again, and so on.
3) Winner can pick which set of boxes they want (Lunar, Magic, etc.)
4) Cutoff is at the end of Friday, December 23, midnight CST.
5) I hope to get the drawing done on Christmas weekend, but I am not promising. It may not happen until Monday the 26th.

6) I reserve the right to pick the winner as I wish and reject any weird requests like "Can you just send money to my girlfriend's venmo using Canadian currency?"
How will the drawing work?
I will collect any submissions in a spreadsheet, sort, remove duplicates and use an online RNG app to pick between 1 and the max number of submissions. I will then check the account of the chosen IGN and see if the conditions spelled out in the rules are met. If not, I will choose again. If met, I will DM winner and we will continue until someone responds.
I will notify everyone of the winner once chosen.
