It says that Battle Pass will end on Jan 26th at 1 am PT. But today Jan 24 2 pm PT it is telling my that there is only one day left. I'm figuring I have 2 days left. So what am I missing? I definitely want to buy the remaining stages, but want to wait until the last minute to decide how many passes I will still need.

Is my math off???

Well it will end at server reset on that day, so maybe that's why.

 

Just closed the client and can't check mine, but does it list the date or actual hours and minutes?

According to the website. It ends at 0400 est. on the 26th.

It says 1d. Tomorrow early AM it will start the hour counter, I think.

If you consider that one hour between Jan 25th at midnight and Jan 26th at 1 am PT as a full day, then you have two days.  Otherwise most would recommend finishing up on the 25th.

The reason it says "1d" left is because that's indicating that there's "1 FULL day" of the event left. Once we reach the "less than 1 day" left, the timer should convert over to "23h" (and maybe some minutes).

If you take a look at the in-game Store, you can see the Consumables/Equipment discounts "timer" indicating, at the time of this post, "11 h 30 min", because that sales event ends in the morning.

 

But, to be on the safe side, I'm taking care of everything today, after my last game. That way, I won't miss out, due to some unforeseen event (like the computer crashing) and, I can actually take the day off tomorrow.

The ingame counter always truncates any fraction of a day...so 1 day and 23 hours and 59 minutes shows up as 1 day remaining, which would be correct as we are now beyond 4am EST on the 24th and therefore have less than 2 full days remaining.

Forgot that it's a global event and times outside of NA server reset are common for those.

No. To really mess with us, they "start" an event 2 days early.

No to really mess with us they should announce the event clearly in advance and start it on time without any confusion or issues.

The big question is why have they never put an accuarate and complete countdown timer on the site or game screen for any event.

 

Things like the server restart, approaching patches, or event conclusions.

 

Other games manage it. So why don't Wargamming?

When I finished my session last night I purchased the remaining stages.  Wasn't certain when I would be able to get on tonight and absolutely didn't trust WG.  So better doing it 24 hours early than missing out and crying later.  We know WG doesn't listen to the crying.
