Iron Arnie.  I don't really pay attention to new tanks anymore.  But pretty much every game I see an Iron Arnie in, it's drive straight into enemy fire with zero concerns.  I just had a standoff with one in my tier 10 T110e3.  Just bouncing shells.  Yeah, if you are close enough, you can aim for the cupola.  It's think it's the lowest skill tank I've ever seen.  And they gave it 320 alpha with a bonus of 300 pen on it's heat rounds.  And it's a "medium".  Absolutely the tank for clowns.  I just decided that I am going to trade my tier 10 US arty for the tier 8 M40/43 and I will focus every Arnie that I see.  Just like I used to do at tier 10 vs the Obj 279 and the Chieftain.  It's so ridiculous.  I actually just made the M40/43 my new favorite tank.

Bro if u got 375mm of apcr pen and can’t figure out a way to pen a tier 8…

 

 

Also, the irony is worth appreciating:

-E3 player complaining about a tank being too hard to pen

-Player who’s favorite tank is the M4043 complaining about low skill caps

Lower plate is as soft as melted cheese. Big pimple on top of turret. Turret ring was installed by fast food workers. 

Anything else you need to know about Arnies Tank?

Ah so he wasn’t just “driving out in front of the enemy” like a brainless monkey as you initially stated the iron arnie could do. Sounds to me like he was exposing the thickest part of his armor at a long enough distance that it would be effective, also known as “skill”.

 

Now I’m sorry to break it to you, but no, you cannot pen every tank you want to just by loading gold and shooting straight into the middle of their turret. If you want that, go play arty, which it seems you already do.

Ha!   My first game and I get a mark of excellence.  I forgot I played it before.  Actually at 73.8%.   Sadly the only Iron Arnie was on my own team

If you're having problems against it in an E3 then there's other issues.

Say at Tier VII, using a Black Prince, I'll agree the arnie would be a problem.  But, when my Shrek, using any type of shell it has can butter right through it' Cupo, lower plate, and around back, yeah, it's you that's the issue.

Lovely.  Didn't face a single Iron Arnie.  Done for now.   The 6 year olds must all be sleeping

I can deal with Iron Arnies pretty easily with my Tier VIII STRV. I can't imagine having much trouble with one in a TD two tiers higher, that has a *much* bigger gun, even if the IA is hull down.
