Yeah..it is possible..Here the instructions
THough, your game may not be that dramati..but it will surely add to your aiming abilities and
higher FPS ^^
Go to the following Folder inside your Game Folder: D:\Programs\World of Tanks\res\particles\Tank
Inside this Folder Rename the following Files from this:
shot_big.xml
shot_big_PT.xml
shot_big_SAU.xml
shot_main.xml
shot_mb_main.xml
shot_mb_small.xml
shot_small.xml
shot_small_auto.xml
to this:
shot_big.xml_
shot_big_PT.xml_
shot_big_SAU.xml_
shot_main.xml_
shot_mb_main.xml_
shot_mb_small.xml_
shot_small.xml_
shot_small_auto.xml_
(or just place them in separate folder)
Do NOT Rename shot_MTLS_auto.xml as this seems to remove the Tracers.
Instead of the _ you can choose any other Character you like. Windows will show you a warning about
the World will explode if you change the Files from xml to bloddy Hell but you can just ignore that.

Go to C:/Games/World_of_Tanks/res/particles/tank. In that folder there will be files that say shot_... Simply rename them by putting another underscore in front of their names, so it looks like _shot_...(make sure to do this with ALL of the shot_... files)

Hahha..notepads always comes in handy..and btw..you cant rename all the files..the tracers would be gone

Speaking of SERVER down..grrr..its pissin me off..havent played WoT for a month or so (Busy w/ college)
now its sem break..and suddenly the server is down..

Google for MULTILINGUAL WoT Tweaker, it will have flags for changing languages, it was translated with some program so it is crawling but still understandable.
Not every version you will find will have english, but multilingual, as name says, will have.

the link i supplied IS multilingual, but its only downloadable from russian site, hence why it is BMed through google translate, everything works fine...just that its a russian website

Thank you!!! I was also struggling with some FR issues. Disabling all that smoke will certainly help!!!
