Glad you got a full roster, this battle is really dependent on the numbers.
Have fun everyone.
ps: German side, come on, pick up a win

What is so historical in this “historical” battle?
1. Twenty Pershings that saw combat during WW2 in Europe were assigned to the 3rd Armored Division (32th and 33th armored regiments, one tank per company) and 9th Armored Division (14th (5 tanks in company A) and 19th (1-2 tanks per company) tank battalions). 3d Armored Division took active part in the Ruhr Pocket (Ruhrkessel) battles, but 9th Armored Division only assisted in the closing of it.
You have 4(!) Pershings out of 15 vehicles? BTW this 46.2 tons combat weight tank was considered as a heavy one at that time.
2. In March-April 1945 (time of the battle) the percentage of US tanks equipped with 76mm guns (vs. 75mm guns) was 38-44.
ALL you American tanks have 76mm guns (or bigger).
3. Jagdtigers operated exactly in the Ruhr Pocket.
You have none in the German team.
See, e.g. (I definitely like to see your references for this "recreation"):
“Pershing. A history of the medium tank T20 series” by R. Hunnicutt.
“Late war US tanks. The Pershing, Chaffee and M40 SPG” by D. Doyle.
“Battle for the Ruhr: The German Army's Final Defeat in the West” by D. Zumbro.
“US armored divisions: the European theater of operations, 1944-45” by S. Zaloga.
You can “balance” your games as you want, but, please, do not misuse historical names. This could be an interesting for some players game but it has nothing to do with the historical events in the Ruhr pocket.
Side remark: the chosen map is one of the most difficult for WoT (and real) German tanks. There are many towns in Ruhrgebiet but I do not think that Ruinberg map is a good approximation of this historical battlefield (German tanks/TDs were used mainly out of towns for defending important roads).

We will call the battles what we like and will always call upon historical events as our settings, simply because we try to mimic them with what WG gave us.
But there is one massive elephant in the corner and that one is called balance. Simple as that. After 45+ missions we know what works in the WoT environment and what does not. I would love these battles to be 150% faithful recreations of actual events, but given certain choices by WG this is not possible, so we have to cut some corners to make due.
I appreacite your input, but you better point it at WG and not us.

I'd like to sign up for either Tiger 2, Slugger, or Pershing.
This is the first time I have a chance to participate

OMG.. I just realized that my tanks are fully mounted with permanent modules...
Hopefully there would be other events which allow me to participate regardless the modules onboard my tanks.

Read the rules a little more closely
Says no temporary modules, not permanant

Great, we're ready to roll! (I hope the American team won't lose, or it won't be historical
)
