So I am trying to understand Radios and vision a bit better. I love playing td's especially those with great accuracy. The 700m shot to the side is my personal fav. What I am trying to grasp is that in some game I seem to be able to find the shots regularly. Others not so often. I try to be very careful about ranging myself behind my lead element at a range that keeps them in my radio range but many times it seems the enemy is able to close within my visual range despite being in my lead elements visual range for some distance before I can locate them.  My question is to get a long range target is it the radio range of the spotting tank, or the radio range of my tank. I know with the leopard they talk about making sure you have the best radio on it allowing you to feed your information to more tanks. But Arty typically also has great range radios, so which way is needed?

Second question, can you use the map to range things? If I am at A1 and my target is at A7 is that really about a 700m shot or does the size of the grid vary with the size of the map?

to answer ur second question most maps ore 1000m by 1000m so that is corect.

For ur fist question both having great radios is best but if it were one or the other better scout radios are better.

I don't see how you can even read what he said enough to disagree with it. "fist question" Dude is on the wrong forum.

Remember it's not just YOUR radio but also how good the radios are on the rest of your team.

I've come to the conclusion that since most people just fixate on the grind for the next tank, few players ever upgrade their radios or even understand how they actually work in the game.
