I tried to work it on 7.0, and got nothing. Then I installed on the 7.1 test server and it works just fine. What gives?

hm, don't know what you have done, but the installer replaces the \res\audio\music.fsb and music.fev
If you entered the right World of Tanks folder it just installes to the right location.

Could you please make it not a .exe file?
Cant trust any .exe from a stranger.

Also what was changed/added from the 6.9 to 7.0 versions?

Out of pure interest, where does WoT store it's music audio files? It isn't possible to just exchange audio files with the originals and thus modify the soundtrack? Cheers.

download it and check the exe with your liked av-tool if you don't trust exes. maybe the next release got a zip-archive again.
wargaming added 5 new tracks to 7.0, had to reorder ALL to play them at the right locations.

World of Tanks\res\audio
you had to extract the music.fsb, rename all your music-files fitting to the extracted files, reorder them EXACT as they are played (listen with an fsb player, make a new fsb container and copile it with the right FMOD-Version (some older out there). Not that easy as it sounds :)

New Release!
First post updated.

Thanks man. I've been a C&C fan since ever and hearing Hell March or equivalent while I'm playing is awesome.

Before I found this I used to turn off the WoT ingame music and play C&C music in Windows Media Player. :v

Its great having the music, but it seems like the songs play well after the round starts, which is kind of annoying. Plus, I never seem to get that epic RA2 Hell March track in battle. Although I have been spending a lot of time at the log on screen ;)

Btw you don't need to match every track wargamming adds so long as they dont add a new catagory. I created the Portal 2 music mod and it only contains 28 tracks and works fine, sure wish I could add more tracks but with only 2 games I was limited. Good work so far though!

hmm, nearly right.
if you got only some tracks (random playing), this might be correct, but if you got different tracks for special events, like menu-music, win/defead track this doesn't work (from 6.7 to 7.0 tracks use other ordering)

Is it possible to have CnC music and the Original WoT music at the same time, and if so, how?
Thanks.

Just a heads up, this seems to kill some sounds with the new update.  Killed everything except when I enabled Duke Voice Mod (which is encountering the same problem apparently) but I can only hear the two enabled mods then.

Love this, though the download speed sucks ever since Rapidshare started limiting free downloads ... would recommend getting some more mirrors.
