Hello again...

In recently battle, I was in German VK3002DB tank with 88 KwK 36 l/56 while I was engaging the Russian T44 tank in point blank range by aiming the frontal hull and side hull. I overheard that most 88 APs were bounced off the T44's hull... I was puzzled with it.. I checked the information chart via tree ... I was trying to figure how the heck 88 aps (99 - 165mm) could not penetrate the T44's hull - 90mm/75/45? Please investigate this matter...

Date: 2/4/11 (DD/MM/YY)

Map: Himmelsdorf

Target: Object 704, Side armor

Gun used: 12.8cm Kampfwagenkanone 44 L/55 (Maus)

Ammo used: Standard AP

Range: 20m

Message: That one went right through

Angle: Dead on, no angle

I hit that Object 704 in the side TWICE, both went through with ZERO damage.

Would it be possible to have an in depth description of how a shell passes through without doing damage? If the game is based on hull integrity, then having a shot go through without damage is insane. Assuming a projectile moving at 800m/s even if it penetrates that sucker is going to create some nasty molten steel bits that bounce around in the tank. I have no problems with a shot hitting a track and going straight through, as there is nothing on the other side, but a broadside to a tank, I find that EXTREMELY hard to believe. 4/1 I nailed a su85 in the side, and it went right through, I was aiming for the commander and the entry was pretty damn near close.

On another note for the HE, I would like a better description of just how the shells impact. For example, an HE shell can bounce, and if it has a delayed fuse will detonate after the bounce, somewhere removed from the tank. However, I don't see that description anywhere. It would make a hell of a lot more sense if that was explicitly said, because then I wouldn't be wondering why my HE bounced... same goes for the HEAT. Without a clear description of how the HEAT and HE bounce, it's very very annoying to fire one and here 'that one bounced!', especially when normal AP is ineffective.

Hi

I would like to report "random" bug between good aim and the distance (100 yd and greater) when I am firing APs…

In recently battles, I have noticed some weird bugs that make APs go through the hull or target. There are no signs showing explosion, dirt hit, bounce, ricochet, and penetration during aiming and firing via gun-sight. Just nothing. There are no voices from the crew indicating hits, penetration, bounce, and ricochets…

I think there may be some hacks out there yet. I just played a round where my entire team was wiped out in less than 4 minutes and never destroyed a single enemy tank. I faced off with two tanks and both were moving so fast I could not target them fast enough while they NEVER missed with their shots, regardless of my speed or maneuvering. I get killed plenty, but I've never seen, or even heard of, such a one-sided battle.

Shot at a arty with my KV 152 only a few yards away and my round hit the ground between us. Totally messed up. Been seeing a lot of stray shots in all directions with all tanks.
