Kinda a pointless question, but what ever happened to the writing on the side of the KV-1's Boxcar/Derp Tower/Fridge/Lego/KV-2 Turret? it was in the latin alphabet

"Za Rodinu" or "For the Motherland" In cryllic it is За Родину!

Will there be a "FIREFLY" variant of the Sherman medium tank? If so will it be a new turret added to the sherman tier 5?(as the Firely was just a Sherman variant with slightly better armor and mounted tier 6 guns as well as a redesigned turret, but was essentually the same vehicle just with better turret)Or will it be a new tank alltogether? I personally like the idea of the Firefly being a seperate tank: tier 6, as the gun types and added armor would overkill any tier 5 allthough this would make it a near copy of the M4A3E8, but with lower armor and higher speed.

Also, if the M18 HELLCAT is not a premium tank, this tank could be the base for it (leading research from the M4 Sherman (tier 5) to the M4 Firefly (tier 6) to the M18 Hellcat (tier 7, as the speed and gun power that the WW2 tank was armed with could only match tier 7 but would overpower any lower tier).

The trailers show a high tier (tier X?) French heavy tank with a standard turret instead of an oscillating one.  Will this ever be implemented into the game, or was this a turret design that was cut, and if so why?

I was just thinking about the hatch about tanks that can go into water like landing boats. World of Tanks will you be addiing these tanks because Japan had some the Russians had some and the U.S, almost every contry in ww2 had some. So are you going to add the ones with guns. Also what about those tanks with log bridges and stuff even tho they had no guns we could still use them to get across rivers and stuff.

First of all copyer but u typed it :)

I enjoy the skill level and am trying to boost my crew so I am running all tier II tanks.  My question is this, why are the pzkw 38H and t127 considered tier II tanks?  They are nearly invincible even with 100% gunners who get as many and TEN CRITICAL HITS I get dead with one or two hits from them? And I am not talking about an MS1 or T1 here but a 35t or M2 (which are pretty heavily armored).  In a battle this evening I watched not one but THREE tier II tanks with 20mm bounce multiple hits off a t127 at knife fight range for NO DAMAGE while he got two of us.

First T-127 is T3 i know cause i got 1  B):).  And the 38H735 it is so good because Slow=has to have some other advantage cause it is a premium so advantage=good gun and fast moving turret.  And again i should know cause i got it and again B):).

Will the m103 and t110 have strong turret armor like the t34 and t30?

Q: Will there be any buffs/fixes to the VK2801 credit earning potential?
A: No. It's meant to be unprofitable. Just like the other tier 5 LTs.
Source - Link

Doesn't this seem a little cruel, making the tier five light tanks honestly not worth purchasing? I just bought a VK 2801 and was surprised by how expensive it was to operate. After searching the forums and seeing this wasn't a rare occurence (SteelRonin's thread, titled: VK 2801 repair credits, I thought it would be fixed in the upcoming patch. The 2801 is a really entertaining tank, but not being able to maintain an even budget while using it is tough. Any tier five light tank that is so expensive just doesn't seem worth getting. As a player, I'm not compelled in any way to buy a tank that can't even pay it's repair bill. I, as a person who enjoys the light tank play style, can't really enjoy a tank that is so expensive to use. What's the point? As a light tank in upper tier matches, possibly being destoyed is all part of the game. It may not be the most exciting part of it, but that's just how the game is. But suffering all these costly repairs just for playing a light tank is harsh. If I don't want any damage, I can't scout. If a tier five light tank in a high tier game can't scout, not only is their plenty of verbal abuse from some players, but the SPGs on my team don't get any targets, and hostile SPGs don't get destroyed. Playing a tier five light tank isn't any fun if I have to hide in my base with the SPGs I should be scouting for. This detrimental use of the repair bill is harming the game. I enjoyed playing the VK 2801, it was a lot of fun aside from the repairs, but I'll just go back to my VK 1602 Leopard. I guess the highet tier SPGs will have to find other scouts besides VK 2801s, T-50-2s, and M24 Chaffees. Oh wait, there aren't any.

It doesn't need a major overhaul, so players can earn tens of thousands of credits per game, but can't it at least break even? Is this really the final decision? Tier five light tanks will not be worth playing?

The tier V lights are meant to be endgame tanks like the tier VIII artillery, tier X heavies, and tier IX mediums and tank destroyers. They aren't supposed to make money because no other endgame tank makes money. Really the only thing they have in common with other tier V vehicles is the amount of tanks between them and tier I.

I'm not asking for tier five light tanks to make money, I'm simply asking that they break even often enough to be operated without causing so much trouble to the player. It's not as if other "end-game" tanks are exactly being praised for their repair costs. It doesn't really seem as if any player using an "end-game" tank is very happy with how hard it is to break even. It's easier in tank company battles, apparently, but just trying to play a rather casual public match is asking for a some negative figures. Agreed, the "end-game" tanks don't need to make money, they have no higher tier tanks to research and purchase, but a neutral net productivity would be nice. If I can pay for repairs and ammo, I'm a happy tanker. All the hard work in getting to those tier eight SPGs, tier ten heavies, tier nine mediums, tier nine tank destroyers, and tier five lights seems to be a waste if they can't be financially supported. It doesn't particularly appear worth the effort. Who exactly does this benefit? I'd can't find entertainment in my VK 2801 because, as I stated earlier, if I don't want to lose credits, I can't scout. I can't be a light tank. I have to hide in the base. Why can't they just be credit neutral?

2 things:

SCOUT tanks should be paid for spotting, I mean isn't that the reason you put them in battles where they can't really hurt any of the tanks they are against, isn't that their purpose?  Why not pay them for scouting, there seems to be no reward for playing to an objective.

JagTiger, worst gun of all tier 9 TD's by far for damage and penetration, almost the worst armor given the slope on the Object 704 front.  I have KV-1S, KV-3's and quite a few real low tier tanks knocking holes in the front all the time, if it has to have the worst gun can't the armor get a buff?  It says its 250 but I don't see how it could be.

I wanted to know. Would you ever add "Super-Tanks", Such as the P 1000 Ratte and P 1500 Monster? I think it would be awesome.

Just want to know why Arty (SPG) are even in the game. 1 They aren't tanks 2. While they are tracked they nevere really ventured close enought to the battle area to get involved like in the game. 3. In my opinion they detract from the aim of the game which is armored combat since they truly engage indirectly which is ciounter to the direct fire nature of tank on tank combat.4. More time is wated hunting /slash hiding from Arty than would have really been the case in a company on company encounter as is portrayed by the standard battle scenerios..
