"I'm annoyed a Sherman can stand front to front with a Tier 6 German TD (Jgdpzw?) with an .88 and have a very small area that won't richochet?"

I mean historically they should get shredded? Yes?

I'm just asking here, I don't want to be the 1 billionth person to piss people off with a "That shouldn't happen!" post.

I WOULD like to see an accurate battle-mode for those who want to play it. You can have 'arcade' and you can have 'hardcore'

1. Which Sherman?
2. The 88 on the Jpz is known to suck.
3. 'Hardcore' as in one real hit and you die? No thanks.
4. Try the suggestions forum.

If it's an M4A3E2 "Jumbo" Sherman, standing at an angle face to face, yes he will bounce if you shoot the hull (101mm  or more effective armor due to angles, vs. 135mm AVERAGE penetration of Short 88 I believe). Chances are you will damage 'em, but not all the time. Don't bother with the turret, 175+ mm thick on the front and sides are about 100mm if I recall.

Any other Sherman (M4, M4A3E8), you must be hitting the friggin' troll that's standing on top of the deck. Otherwise they are squishy.
