M24 Chaffe.   55kph, turns on a dime, great turret traverse, and the most powerfull american 76mm available.  At close range, I once solo killed a tiger 2 and a t95 in this thing.

I agree, I know the IS is considered the weakest/second weakest tier 7 heavy but I really loved it in the Raider role, it really did its job. The only thing is I feel the IS line has a strong reputation for strong armor and the average player doesn't realize how low the IS armor is which leads to players prioritizing it MUCH lower than they should.

That being said I'm not sure if it's 100% the tank that excels at what it does or opponents lack of knowledge that allows it to be so devastating.
IS, the second weakest T7 heavy? Please, that things gun tears up everything at it's tier like a hot knife through butter, it is astoundingly mobile for the amount of armor it has, and it has excellent turret traverse as well. When I see the in my Panther I dare not approach it at closer than 150 meters approx., since until I am out of the range of its giant Russian boomstick, it can tear me to shreds quick. I have seen Is's regularly beat Tigers into a pulp, and the T-29 and the AMX 1945 can only kill it from hull down or an ambush, respectively. So far as I can tell, the Is seems to be the best of the Tier 7 heavies.

T-54, T-50 (when top tier in battle is 5 it's horrible), E-50.

M7 Medium Tank. With the 6 punder gun this thing has almost 2000 damage per minute as the reload time is about 1.2 seconds as well as the aim time, you are constantly looking for targets to unload your shells on.
In a platoon with 3 of these things I have easily taken down multiple tier 8 heavies before they could get 3 shots off, with no other outside support.

Considering tanks I have or have played
AMX 13 90
Chaffee
ELC
T62 (Chinese version wish it would get reclassified as medium)
T59
M4/M4E8

But think my all time fav is T-54.  Have always loved its looks was one of the main tanks I wanted when first starting the game.  Its just a mean tank good speed, agile, decent gun.  Even rolling the LB-1 gun to save a few credits as I grind toward the new gun its very efficient.

VK2801 in a good match.

Type 59, and most Russian mediums, French mediums.

The T-62A and the BatChat 25t both make excellent raiders imo. The tier 7 mediums also make good raiders, bar the Panther, and arguably the VK3002DB, due to its lack of mobility *or* firepower, depending on what modules it has equipped.

My absolute favorite tank for everything but taking hits is my Easy Eight. The gun reloads so fast that it doesn't matter if you miss. The tank is so mobile until someone hits your tracks (which would take a great shot or an arty :P) that it doesn't matter if they see you as long as you're up to speed and not climbing a hill. Otherwise I like my Pershing.
