Is this how much gold for a years premium? If so seems like $100 for a game is a little steep...

Which is why it's 100% optional. No one's twisting your arm. People can play this game just as successfully as a non-premium player, but it just takes a bit longer.

After looking around and subscribtion based online game, the average seems to be fifteen dollars a month.
One hundred dolllars for a years service doesn't seem so bad. Add in the fact that it's optional, not a big deal. :)

Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay... Consider though, it would cost you over 90,000 gold if you bought 1-day premium accounts every day... it's the best deal so if you plan on staying around and play often, it's worth it. Something like a quarter a day?

Not really... you don't "have" to pay anything... remember that.

Granted, premium gets you the 50% bonus on xp/credits and that $99.95 that you spend, heck "roughly" breaks down to around $8.00 per month... paying per month is a bit more so you're actually getting a bit of a deal going 1 year up front...

Haven't done it myself yet tho'... but still... consider it worth it in my book...

I do not have one ,but this is all you get:

Premium Account
The most important thing that Gold is  used for is to buy subscription to  the Premium Account that allows a  player to research the desirable vehicle quicker and to save time on its  purchase. It gives more credits and experience  per battle. It is a  great deal  as the profit after paying  for repairs and ammo increases two- or  threefold, depending on your  performance in battle (amount of damage,  destroyed tanks, base  captured/defended, etc). You can buy Premium  Account for one day, for three days, for a week, for a month, for  half-a-year and a year. This option provides the following bonuses:

  • 50% more experience per battle
  • 50% more crew experience per battle
  • 50% more credits earned in a battle
  • opportunity to create a platoon of 3 (this will soon be up to 5)
  • opportunity to create a tank company
  • clean and sightly garage

Some rich businessmen spent like $500 on a lunch with their businesspartners. In the end, it all comes down to how much you think it's worth. If you don't think it's worth the $100 to be on premium for a year, don't get the package. Simple as that. Plenty of people do think it's worth it, and do pay that price. In fact, lots of people pay more, since they buy like 1 month of premium time at a time instead of a whole year in one go.

When that one day free premium membership code came out, I was surprised on the game’s benefits in being a premium member. I never gain so many credits and XP, so fast, in so little time, during my entire game playing time.  It caught my attention. I am saving to get a premium membership.  IMHO it’s worth it.

Basically this, I dropped $750 into a custom paintjob on my car that most people think is stupid and a waste and guess what? I'm more then happy with how it turned out and never regret spending all that cash, Same if you drop $100 into a game, If YOU enjoy it THAT much whats the problem? besides $100 for a year ain't bad MOST other pay to play or pay to win MMO's i know of cost $180 or more a year just to have a chance or to even log in $100 seems a good deal in comparison.

Well when buying 25000 gold for $100 that's 250 gold per $1.  The 12 month premium costs 24000 gold or $96.  $96/12 months is $8/month.  For MMOs $8/month is actually really cheap.  Granted this game is pretty limited in content compared to traditional MMO's but you can still get similar enjoyment value from it.

Hell, I WISH my $100 gold package lasted me a year...

Between the rare 100% crew training, converting free XP, some occasional garage slots and gold shells, and so on...  I spent HOW MUCH now?!?!?!?

Take it from me: Going freebie only deprives you of the tanks everyone calls OP!

I used my b-day money to buy the 24,000 gold. Do not ask me why i choose this option. Let's just say I love tanks and we all do in WoT :Smile-playing:

i buy the $20 game card every so often (only my second one) for 1 month premium and some spare for exp and occasional garage slot.
two $15 gold packs, it saves your points, so i have roughly $5 in unspent points( i did buy the cheapest pack with the lose points)

gold is always worth getting if you like the game.

Ask yourself these questions: What else could I purchase with that $100?  Should I save that $100 for something more important down the road?  Now:  is it worth it?

You do realize there are multiple premium options, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly...  $100 isn't the only option.
