Hi All,

I'd like to get my kids $15 or so of gold each for World of Tanks this Christmas.

The only "gift card" for this gold seems to be Ultimate Game Card. There doesn't seem to be a pretty WoT-specific gold gift card.

My questions:

1. Is there a WoT specific gift card available?

2. If I get some Ultimate Game Card points, can I use them on all the kids accounts, or are Ultimate Game Card credits specific to a single WoT account?

Thanks!

Personally, I'd log into his account (or get him), and just "get gold" from game.  That'll pop up the web page to get gold.  Use visa or equivalent after that.

Just a tip, this would be a good time to spend some gold for garage spaces, gold ammo, equipments and premium consumables :D

That's an awesome gift your giving to your kids. I hope to encounter your kids in the game one day :D

The cards are per account when you activate them.

The dollar amounts on the cards don't always match up to a gold purchase amount - so you may end up having to get less gold a stocking up some "ultimate points" for the next time you buy gold.

This is why we should have a "gifting" system for gold to friends, family and clanmates. The money is still being spent and Wargaming is still making the money, what we choose to do with it, or who we want to give it to should be our perrogative.

I wanted to gift a Matilda tank to a co-worker of mine the other day for his birthday, but the only way I could have done so is by logging onto his account and buying it in game logged on as him. I'm sure that would have been a violation of ToS somehow.

When you redeem the card the entire balance is put on your account... thing that stinks is that the card is $20, but you can only get $15 gold package.  Then you have $5 sitting there and you need a credit card to pay the additional to get a $7.50 package.

Better off just logging in on their accounts and buying it.

If you are looking for an actual "gift" to give on christmas day, then I guess go with the card.

I found that is you get a pre paid visa for like 5-10 dollars at walmart you can just add cash to. they work for online purchases. But at the same time you do not have to give out a real card number, Just pay for the card once then put money on it as you choose and use it any where a credit card can be used. They are available with visa or master logos.

If you use it all up right away, this works.  However, they (at least all I have used) have monthly "service" fees that will eat into the money you have on the card.  You can't use part of it and then leave the remainder around to use later (well, you CAN, but it you leave it very long, you cash will get eaten up with service fees).  Also, each time you dump money into it, it costs you, too.

True, but you can spend an additional 5-10 bucks and get a no-fee prepaid card.  That's what i did, paid 20 bucks for it loaded it up, and that was 4 months ago.  Still have 2.32 left on it, and have yet to have any "service fees" be deducted from it.

I have not run across any of those.  Would you have company name (like "Green Dot" -- which doesn't) that provides service fee free cards?

or wait till you get another card, $15 pack, you now have $10 in stored points. you can now either wait for another card and the $15 pack or just get the 7.50 then.
I went the second route when they were doing the +10% sale.

I'd like WoT to give us all gold and 3 days of premium to use whenever incase we miss it (so if you can't play on Christmas, you can use the 3 days another time).
