I have trained multiple crews and experimented with different ways.  My average across the crew theory is interesting. My theory is that if you have a "NEW" crew that is all at 75%(Bought with silver at the begining.) You then train the Commander to 100% with gold. In theory I believe that the rest of the crew catch up, and they do it quite fast.  This also happens with the secondary skills.  The commander is already at about 30% before the others get to 100% on there main skill.  They will then train up faster in secondary also. Also if all members are on a different secondary skill and they all reach there next one.  They will train faster because the others are at 100% and the "average across the crew" moves them up faster. Tell me what you do. Tell me what you think.

Vote and Tip please.

I usually gold train the entire crew if its a tank I'm going to play heavily. Otherwise I just train the commander you stated in the OP.

75% crew on a tank you know you are going to use a lot: Leveling-up tank, moneymaking tank, premium tank, low-tier fun tank you always play. Tanks that you know you are encouraged to use more often than others.

If you have gold to spare, go ahead. Commander first, then the rest of the crew, but for me 75% works good as well.

For the secondary skills, well, the poll is speaking for its own.

problem with each crew having a different skill is it averages across the whole crew.
so 5 man crew.
2 in camo 2 in repair, 1 in fire.
the acutal skill is %*2/5 camo and repair, and only 1/5 in fire.
if they are each at 100, than the skills will function at 40%,40%, and 20%.

if i go 3,2 for camo/repair the actual values are
3/5 of camo and 2/5 on repair.
60%, 40%. getting better, not great

whole crew on camo
is the actual percent.
100%. full skill. Romulan cloaking device online. hide in plain sight. you are the king of ambushers.

thank you for the interesting look at this.  But, I thought that an average ment "in each skill." I know it says across the crew but is it your way or is it across the ones in that skill.  Does it say average across the WHOLE crew?

By the way the cloaking device thing is great. I have one crew that i trained like that and i run a cammo net and no one sees me. Perfect for arty.......

Train to 75%, by the time you've made enough exp to fully research everything your crew (depending on tier, of course) should be 100%.
Mixing and matching secondary skills is pointless, as stated before.
