I suggest the retail box version of World of Tanks.

It does cost $19.99 US dollars but:

1) 1,050,000 Credits - Used to purchase most tanks, ammunition, tank upgrades, tank equipment, and certain powerful consumable items.
2) 1,800 Gold - Used to purchase Premium tanks and account status, certain powerful consumable items, extra garage slots, fully train your tank crew, and convert experience earned into "Free Experience." Gold can also be converted into credits.
3) 1 T2 Light Tank - Immediately roam the battlefields in this Premium tank.
4) 1 week Premium account - Gain 50% additional experience and credits for one week.

$30 worth of in-game stuff. Great for a beginner in my opinion.

If you like this game, you should purchase it. :) (Get it for Christmas if you can't legibility buy it)

nypher where are you located?  Post your location and I'm sure someone can explain where to go and your options more thoroughly.  I'm in a remote area so I cannot help you very much unfortunately.  First off, you do realize you can download and play for free.  An option is to pay which has certain advantages however you should spend some time on the forum and research that before you spend too much.  You can purchase in some limited stores a retail version.  Depending where you are located you can purchase a prepaid credit card and use that to pay on-line, I'm not sure if there are any age restrictions to prepaid credit cards however many people are unaware of them which is a shame because they are one of the safest ways to make payments on the net.  There's very little concern of your personal data and credit be affecting by unknown cache stolen or some hacker etc. when using a prepaid credit card.

Just start playing for free, learn, have fun and post more questions but first be sure to "search" the forum for the answers.

good luck   :)

Well. Where do you live?

One option is Gamestop. Check out Gamestop's main page and type in 'World of Tanks with Bonus DLC' in the search engine.

You can usually find them at any walmart or gamestop.  There are also nice little "pay as you go" credit/debit cards that you can get at any local gas station or rite-aid/cvs.  Usually a $5 activation fee, and for some, I think there is a $5-10 mthly fee.  I use account now and it works out very nicely.

if your 15+ you might be able to make a bank account which will then give you a bank card which is basically a credit card (just do not ever spend more money then whats in your bank or use all the money in the checking account....ever!!)

Or, you can just play for free until you're not "new" at the game.

Look out for freebies mate. Every few weeks there's usually a deal around that gives a free tank and a little bit of gold and a day or two of premium. Enough to get you started anyway

You can also use any major credit card debit gift card I used one from Target with VISA as the label credit card and it worked perfectly, just register the card at your zip code to use it on line. Instructions should be with your card. You can get them usually in $25, $50 and $100 values at many places.

I never had a bank account and don't want one so normally uses these for online purchases.
