*sign* Been doing this for a while now, and just cant get it. Noramlly this stuff is right up my alley, but for some reason Im just pulling my hair out with this. If someone could lenk e a set up saved project... or hell... even if someone who's done this would take a couple of sound files off me and give me the completed back i would be VERY happy. Just want to change the loading sound to a "Rounds Up" voice prompt.

**Edit** Also after a quick bit of testing, noticed that some one said that the reloading sound is in the voice fsb, but (i know there is one in that fsb) Im pretty sure hat it takes the sound from the reloading from the GUI fsb (there is 2 reloading sound files in there)

When I use musicplayerex to convert files to .wav they come out skipping.  For some reason it won't let me convert them to .ogg or .mp3 regardless if I am using the full version of the program or not.  Any idea why this may be?

I guess I can help tonight by putting up my empty voice template. It has all the folders for each voice instance I have found from the official one ingame. All you have to do is add your own sounds to each event, (more than 1 hopefully) and then set them to play a random one without repeat each time it is played to keep things from getting repetitive.

Maybe..... just maybe....... If I have enough time (which I don't considering I have to spread my time between Work, Life outside a screen, Tanks Grinding (Gotta get the T34 before the patch), Top Gear Voice Pack, Futurama Voice Pack, Misc crap like sleep) I can make a Video Tutorial on how to use my template to create a voice pack. One you could follow to make a pack quickly and easily as long as things don't change too much in the modding scene within the next patch or two. Putting a pack together is really quite easy, it is getting the sounds, and making sure they are loud enough ingame that can be tricky.

From the looks of it, it would also require a tutorial on how to normalize/increase the volume of sounds as well since every time I package a pack, the volume is 1/2 of what it was going into the damn pack. Really an odd issue.

Just noticed this thread, nice work on on the guide.  You may wish to add a clause similar to the weapons one about engine sounds though.  They also have a different process to the normal method, and require the use of the FMOD engine generator tool.  Then you need to know about engine sounds in general, and how they should play at different RPM and load levels.  Good fun.

Actually, a collaborator (from the Russian forums) and I are about to complete fdp's for engine/tracks and weapons sounds. We are still tweaking them, but some time in the not so distant future..... ;)

Ooh very nice work.  I was sent a pm about asking how to do it a couple of weeks ago, took a look at what was required, and decided nope.

Great post.

Just wondering though, in the fmod event player could I see the event properties as it is laid out in fmod designer?

Thanks again!
