Depends on where you download it from. Seedy third-party redistributors? Peer2peer torrents? Or direct from the developer's webpage? The latter one is 99.999% safe, the others I'm not so sure about.

i downloaded this directly from the website of WOT, i'm just not sure if i will download the application to start playing so that's why it's on hold just to be sure about it.

Well, there you go, question answered. You really think wargaming.net would offer their game direct for download from their own servers with virii, trojans and spyware? Wouldn't be good for business would it.

I've answered it twice already. Once directly, once indirectly.

Yes. Oui. Ja. Jawohl. Igen. Da. Hai.

Hell yes its safe as safe as it can be anyway :)

Why would your security be down since 2009 when there are so many free security app and AV apps around i assume when you bought the computor it had something like Norton on there and it ran out in 2009 in which case uninstall it and download this http://www.avast.com...ivirus-download get the free one if thats not what you meant then sorry for the misunderstanding

Use AVG Free edition. You get once advertisement of their own product once a month, and it's a really good antivirus system...

Ditto, never failed me in 4 years (jinx!).

Uninstall your current anti-virus that's not working or whatever then install the other program.

Always try to download the game from the official website to avoid the worry.
