Is the best turret for the Tiger II and VK4502A the same? They have the same name and  view range and everything the only diff I see is cost  but Tiger II is Tier IX and 4502A is Tier VIII and they don't interchange. Or is it a miss-print .
                                                                  thank you!

The turrets are like that in game as you can verify yourself by looking at the tech tree in game.

Weight is also slightly different, but the rest is identical and they do basically have the same model in game as well, a model shared by many German tanks. There is no mistake, Wargaming is simply torn between trying not to invent too much on the one hand, but on the other hand wanting enough tanks to fill tech trees and balancing them (cost).

Not sure if you are aware, but the link to the Lorraine 40t in the text box at the top of the page for the AMX 13 90 points to a dead page.
The 'child' link in the info panel on the right works correctly however.

Though you should know, and keep up the good work guys and girls :)
Some renaming became necessary when incorrectly named pages and images were discovered once I started automating all tank data input a few days ago. Some broken links may be the result as we slowly move everything over to use the generated data. If you see any broken links just fix them yourself or post here and we'll take care of it (fixed the one on the AMX 13 90 page). In the end all tank names should be exactly as they appear in game.

PS: The current discrepancy between "M7 MT" and "M7" is caused by the thing currently being called M7 MT in game and it apparently being changed over to M7 in 0.7.2, so the data I generated already uses the upcoming name so we don't have to change it again once the patch hits.</p>

Not that are known from the Editors side of things, no one on our team speaks those languages. I have run across a Japanese language World of Tanks Wiki in the past, pretty sure a fan base run one. I don't have the address unfortunately.

Apparently Wargaming is opening a new office in Korea, so might be a possibility after they are established. That's my personal opinion, as Jiri said we have no info from Wargaming about this.

Given the population of active editors is so extremely small, how do you ensure the wiki is up-to-date and accurate?
It's a great tool, but it looks like Snib was the main person who added content, and it doesn't look like he does that anymore.  While I support the locking down of certain privilages to avoid false or inaccurate information, this means the task of adding/updating game information adds a significant burden to the remaining editors.
What does one have to do to become a WoT Wiki editor?

I tried signing up to edit the wiki, but I didn't have permission :(

Let's just say it takes a lot of work.

To become an editor you'd need to contact Tanitha. The only real things a non-editor can't do is create pages and upload files, everything else is open (besides specific locked pages that only Senior editors can touch anyway). If you need to point something out to us, either post it here or contact one of us. I'll be creating the missing pages very soon so we can get everything edited.

Yes, I pulled out after the 0.7.4 update was done, with one or two exceptions.

So join them and make it shine again. :)

Noting the lack of auto updating since 0.7.4. backups are a good thing.
Anyone with experience to make a tank data parser and the ability to upload said data to the wiki automatically please PM me.
MediaWiki markup experience, especially templating, a bonus but not a requirement.

Any plans on updating the pages on British tanks? The Covenanter and the Matilda have new armour values.

That's a question for Wargaming. :)

Random comment, I have seen MTLS's, BT-SV's, and Panzer II J's in the Chinese server. I wonder if that should be noted, I haven't seen a SU-85I but I assume it's there.

Some of the tanks have the wrong pictures in their galleries...you guys may want to look into that.

Nope this wiki only looks at the NA, EU, and SEA servers.

To my knowledge the way it is done now is to contact Jiri via a message here on the forums. Please correct me if that's not right Jiri.
