OMFG THYE NERFING A TANK I PAID REAL MONEY FOR. I WANT A REFUND
I know this was intended as sarcasm but there is a bit of truth to this statement.
The major reason people purchase a premium is to make credits and to make credits, you have to do lots of damage. This is why the Lowe does so well, it has such a good gun that it does a ton of damage each and every game, even without trying. The Type 59 and the KV-5 on the other hand, have 61 and 69 respectiviely less mm of penetration. That is 2.4 and 2.7 inches of steel difference for us Americans. That being the case, uping the tier on the Type 59 and KV-5 is going to place them in situation where their guns become very ineffective very fast. 175mm of pen against anything higher than a Tier 8 for example, isn't even remotely enough.
So by changing the tiers they will be effectively nerfing the capability of these tanks to earn credits and that is a major problem and a violation of trust between Wargaming and us who have spent real money on a premium tank.
Now I am not saying that they should be moved back down and honestly I don't even have a real issue playing my Type 59 a tier up, however, they need to adjust the amount of credits they earn up so that the change doesn't effect the credit earning potential. For Example if I averaged 15 penetrating hits before at the lower tier and made 40k credits for it, I should still make 40k even if I am only managing 10 penetrating hits at the higher tier.
If they don't then yeah....I might just want a refund.
