As mentioned you do not want another "Gavin".
Since thier is no proof of the names slugger or wolveriene and no variants of either in the game why not just remove it.
M10 & M36 leave out the rest.
I will still call it the slugger despite if you change it as I know it from WOT and if i search through the forums that is what i would type in the search box.
I also think it is a great American TD.

Apparently Chieftain dug up some archived documents that more or less confirmed it was called Jackson. Expect a Hatch article about it soon.

And it still doesn't have the Ford GAA..

Strong work, Wargaming. Way to arrange your priorities.

They'll do that when they bump it up a tier and give it the T15, just because. At least we get the correct gun depression (looking into that, I think that's more because there was a technically limitation before than to "balance" the M36).

It got the right gun depression because Chieftain lit a fire under their ass to do so.

They said over a year ago it'd be getting the Ford GAA. It hasn't happened yet. How hard is it to add a module to a tank? Considering they've given T-44 and T-54 new guns on a moment's notice, which are animated, modeled items (unlike the engine), I'm guessing not that hard..

Actually, if you look at it, it still have only -7 for the rear. If I were to place money, it's the same reason the US heavies once got their depression nerf, and why the AMX M4 had such horrible depression before (but now got fixed as well).

It only has 7 in the rear because if it depressed anymore it'd clip with the hull.

Comet has -12* (even tho it should have -14*) frontally, but only -1* to the rear..

Which is exactly what I'm getting at. The game couldn't do different depressions before.

And the Comet is just wrong on so many levels.

Yeah, it is time to dig up the "Put Ford GAA in M36" thread.
