Will the IS-7's Autoloader be enabled? And what do you think this would do to the current T-10 Power balance?

It's going to have an autoloader?

Just bumped you up to -1, Its a decent question with the french tanks coming in. Though the only thing I found on it was outright laughter.

No it was more of a rammer as there's a reason it still has to be crewed by 2 loaders.
Still historically its ROF was 6-8.

I'd love an IS-7 with an auto loader, Hell, the devs hinted that they are making equipment that adds a small amount of armor protection, why not an equipment that modifies your gun into a revolver? :P

Of course, for Balance issues, IF there was an autoloader added, it would likely hold only 3 shells at a time.

I was going to ask this same question; it states in the wiki that the IS7 "...was armed with the 130 mm S-70 naval cannon (7020 mm long barrel) with autoloader...".  Even if it was a "rammer" mechanism, there should be some historical accuracy with the tank in the game shouldn't there?  Like the French tanks with their autoloaders, it wouldn't buff the tank too much - higher ROF but long (vulnerable) pauses between reloads.

autoloader is a silly idea unless the tank actually had such a feature.

If they're going to do this, why not activate the maus's 75mm auxillary gun as well?

1. Because that gun has a really short barrel = it is practically useless (Not powerfull enough to track anything)

2. Did the IS-7 had revolver type gun? Autoloader =/= Revolver type gun.
Autoloader = instead of loader there is a device that loads the gun. (example T90 MBT)
Revolver type gun = the gun has a magazine (example: French hightier tanks)

They actualy want to make it. Only after multiturret system this cannon could work.

Those "loaders" were meant to operate those 8 IS-7's MG's  :)

That kind of autoloader is not the same as french ones.

Also, since the IS-7 was a limited tested prototype, the sources claiming it could achieve 6-8 RPM are dubious at its best.

The co-ax 75mm gun was the same gun on what we view as the Panther, it was no small sub caliber gun but the main gun from a Panther bolted alongside the far bigger gun.

No, it was a 7.5 L/36.5, the panther was L/70. It would be between the Panzer III 7.5 howitzer and the Pz III/IV gun. It would work great for tracking and punching holes on french tanks xD
