As of the current proposals the tier 9 TD proposed for the Brtish tree is the Tortoise, I believe this to be a poor choice as its not in the same class as the other top tier td's currently in use.

I propose the inclusion of the Conway Tank, it is i believe the best most balanced option for the role and will require the least amount of balancing to make it work.  For those of you who don't know what im referring too here is a link.  http://arcaneafvs.com/conway.html

The conway was never a heavy tank it was in fact designed as a Tank Destroyer.

Conway is a Centurion with the 183mm gun. The FV215b is a Conqueror wit the same gun. They are not the same.

That said, yes, I agree that the Conway would be better than the Tortise.

Its gonna be the largest caliber for TD, And It also have autoloader too. And placed on top of centurion hull, I think It gonna be fast, not sure about the armor though.

Conway seems to be a name allocated solely to the the 120mm variant. The turreted 183mm on the same hull seems to have been known solely as FV4005

Indeed

The FV4004 or Conway with a 120mm gun

The FV4005 stage 1, featuring an autoloader and limited traverse. 183mm gun

The FV4005 stage 2, featuring a fully traversable, lightly armored turret. 183mm gun.

If we went in to prototypes, the British tree would easily be the largest in the games. Escpecially since there are so many commonwealth tanks that would find their way into the British tree. If you look at the British tree currently, nearly every tank on it has actually been produced beyond a prototype.

The FV4005, with the 183mm gun, no turret and a limited traverse makes the most sense as a tank destroyer, certainly as a tier 9.

If the exposed workings of the gun aren't really pretty enough, WG could always model it with the turret from stage 2, but retain the limited traverse of stage 1. Such a thing does have precedent, with the GW Panther featuring the proposed 360* rotation turret artificially limited by the game.

Or as above, the FV4005 Stage 1 and FV 4005 Stage 2 could each be a tier 9 top of two TD branches, with the Tortoise and the Conway as opposing tier 8s?

Hmmm, wonder what whoever designed this first thought? Imagine some following conversation: "Get that puny impotent lend-lease Slugger/ American export garbage out of my garage it won't slug a mere snail! Let's show those bloody yanks what tank destroyer means! No mates, We'll do damn better and put an mini navy artillery gun on the best medium tank hull and call it a tank destroyer! Tallyho the THUNDER!"

That sounds like what I imagine the Russians were saying when they built the ISU /w BL-10 and IS-7.

I love the FV4005, saved enough free EXP for it. Please devs, add it in the game along with the 183 mm gun, please! I'll do the balancing! :(
