Well T-28 can research KV and than you can get HT's and an arty and T-50 research only T-50-2(t-50-2 don't research any tank)
Take t-28.

I am judging you are fairly new if you are asking this question, if that is so go the T-28. For any new player I would not recommend a scout tank, they are not very profitable either and take a skilled player to use. (Hope this helps)

Same as above answer for me. Go fo T-28 but keep working to get e T-50.

T-50 need a perfect crew with repair/cammo and engine overdrive to avoid getting killed by enemy medium tank. Usualy doesn't make a lot of money unless you have a lucky charm or have really good field awareness to know were to move to avoid getting hit. Im not good with a T-50 but i usually kill them quickly as a medium tier 8. Sometime i see some really quick driver and you can easily notice they are fully upgraded and messing arround in our zone wasting our ammo.

T-50 and T-50-2 get into higher tier fight by matchmaker, so you will face up experienced people much more quickly.

Get both, they are my 3rd and 2nd favorite tank to play, respectively.

The T-50 is for experienced players. It is one of the few tanks where an individual player can significantly influence the outcome of a match. Ignore the suicide runners; watch the players who use the T-50 as a scout to detect the enemy, keep eyes on them, then running away when detected. At a late stage of a match a T-50 is great for breakign through to the enemy base and killing their arty. I've been playing T-50 for a week now and love it

Go to T28 for now. (Keep your T46) Go through the T28 to the KV

Play your T46 for the credits until the crew is 100% and starting to research the next "skill"  as shown by the big PLUS sign next to the crew training. (DO NOT SELECT A SECONDARY SKILL AT THIS TIME). See how many games you have played in your T46 and play an additional 25% of the games while you earn credits past the 100% trained level. THEN take your crew into the barracks and unload all of your equipment on your T46 and sell it. Then buy your T50 put in the crew and train each member for 20k credits.

You will then have enough experience with light tank warfare and have a crew to be competitive and have fun at the same time while playing the T50. (if you make it this far, you will be a killer in the T50 and will always go back to play one even as you move onto other tanks)

Meanwhile with your KV, you will be earning credits and by that time may have enough for the KV3. Keep both the KV and the KV3 and you will get (about this time April?) 2 new tanks, crews, and 2 new slots for your trouble.
