Did you read my post about the IS-4 in the previous All Star or was this just coincidence?  :P

Just a coincidence, all the All Star tanks are chosen randomly! The French tanks will be implemented starting in February so there will be more of a variety.

this all star for the IS-4 is proving to be a dog, almost all tier 10 matches(2/3 T10 per side which is BS), or stacked against 3xT9 TDs, or all the meds stacked on one side, or those horrible lazily designed new maps that blow, 4:1 loss ratio(and i'm being conservative).
And when it doesn't happen, everyone else mops the enemy team before i manage to do anything OR i get whacked by those 3 TDs using cheat-mode "1"
i think the most i got so far was a whooooooping 13 points! :o (killed 2, dmg 4, spotted 1)
woohooo i'm so going to get 1st place with that! /sarcasm

Was wondering where the list was, since they keep having 'reminders'.

Eliminateur, you got me beat, my best survival last night was 12.

I've got a question about the XP submission (which is for tie-breakers only)...

"The XP tie breaker is implemented: meaning, when you send in your submission, please also add the amount of XP you earned for that battle.
Double XP: divide your total XP by 2 and then:
Premium accounts: divide your total XP by 15
Standard accounts: divide your total XP by 10"

So the "divide your total XP by 15" or "10" is only if your battle was a Double XP battle, right? Otherwise, you would just include whatever amount of XP was earned?

Not sure what the purpose of the division is. (I get the 15 vs 10 for premium vs standard.) But if I have a standard account and submit a Double XP battle and tie with someone who has a standard account who didn't have a Double XP battle, I divide by 10 but he doesn't? I must be misunderstanding. Or should EVERYONE divide by 15 or 10 depending on their account? The way it's worded, you only divide if your battle earned Double XP.

The concept is to normalize the experience earned across players
1 ) whether or not they were double xp wins
2 ) whether or not the player has a premium account

experience earned is just ...

Base XP * double multiplier [1 or 2] * premium bonus [1 for standard, 1.5 for premium]

so for your score:
a ) you divide by 2 if you got a double on the round, and
b ) divide by 15 or 10 [why I don't know but really just think of it as divide by 1 or 1.5, same effect]

that coverts everyone's experience earned to "Base XP" for a level playing field.

in my case, i have submitted 33 points which i hope can do well, but it was a loss!  so i'll probably lose any tie breaker based on XP since winning is worth substantially more...

So 33 was your tie breaker score or the allstar points in the IS4?

Ah. OK, thanks. If that is the case, then I respectfully suggest rewording the instructions so that they are clear. For example...

===========
XP will be used for tiebreakers. Using the amount of XP earned in this battle, complete the following forumla and include the result in your email.

For Premium Accounts:
XP divided by 15 =

For Standard Accounts:
XP divided by 10 =

[Note: If you earned Double XP on this battle, first divide by 2, then by 15 or 10 depending on your account type as indicated above.]

These XP calculations are not to be added into your MVP points. They will only be considered if you tie with someone else.
===========

To me this is clearer and would help alleviate confusion. Thanks for the help.

If this has been asked before and answered then I'm sorry, but what about rounding for the XP/15? Round up to whole numbers?

No, as long as the second one has the correct calculations.

Rounding up is fine. So far I've had to use the XP tie breaker only a couple of times, so most likely it won't be needed.

Hello!  I have a question, I don't have an All Star submission for this event, but I was wondering if there was a way to get a previous Garage Battle Report to show up on the Garage Report List.  The Game Crashed after I had a spectacular run on my T29 (I'm saving the replay for later!) but after I reloaded I couldn't get the Screen Shot for the Garage Report.  Also, are All Star submissions only valid if they occurred in the Time Frame of the All Star contest?

Thanks!

Unfortunately there isn't a way to access older battle pop ups.
And yes, the All Stars are only be valid during the time frame of the contest.
