You could get maybe 1.5 Panzer IV's from the material used to make a Panther. Its not like it was some super huge resource-devouring tank, that would cut your amored forces to a fraction of their former size.

1.5x the metal, double the fuel, at a craptastic level of availability.

Again, you love ignoring the reliability issue, but if Panthers break down only after 150km of travel (which they did) you will actually end up having zero tanks fighting for you. Ignoring reliability issues (a direct result of weight) by covering your ears and going "Lalalalala it's a medium!" does not change reality.

Don't try and twist meaning, and we won't run into any problems.

And if I do twist meanings, what kind of problems will I run into?

Is that a threat?  Or is that a fact?

I need clarifications before I can further twist your meanings.

I thought tanks automatically show up on the field when the fight starts.

I click "battle" and my tank shows up with 29 other tanks, all in running condition... :Smile_Default:

Problems twisting meaning might lead to:

1) you start beleving what you've attributed to me. That is to say, if you twist my words into meaning, for example, numbers don't matter, you'll actually start to think I said that.

2) it confuses everyone looking in, because you're trying have have a different argument.

3) you become confused when I stay on course, and don't get side-tracked by your, for lack of a better word, lies.

And again, give me a definition of a heavy tank that is universally applicable. We'll work from there.

If you fail to provide a definition that is universally applicable, we will assume that:

1) weight is not the sole determining factor of a tank's classification

and

2) you concede the argument
