Kind of glad about this. I'm grinding the M4 Sherman again and got killed in a 1 vs 1 fight with an AMX 13 75. Their 75 mm kicks the shit out of my 76.

Like having a 40-mm armor barn for a body and being critical hit by Shermans for 400 damage wasn't enough...

The important thing about french lights and mediums so far has been that:
They are good at attacking tanks of all tiers but consequently are weak against tanks of all tiers as well.
They can do dollops of damage to a Tier 9 but can be hurt by Tier IIs. I don't see how that's unbalanced - rather, that's more balancing to the game that it is imbalancing.

The 13/75 is a tier 6. It's supposed to be equivalent to about an M4A3E8.

Amx12t is actually pretty terrible, unless you get in close. Personally, they don't need nerfs. Players just need to adapt to fighting auto-loaders.

I am assuming that it is the higher tier ones as I do not see amx 38, amx 40, D1 or the D2 as being over powered

Good, those autoloaders combined with that speed are ridiculous.

It's been said several times that the Lorraine 40T is a bit too strong for its tier. I'd expect it to get hit the most, and then followed by an adjustment to the AMX 13 90. I'd expect the 13 90 to be weakened significantly but have matchmaking weight lowered and have better matchmaking. The Bat-Chat might get some more maneuverability with a decrease in fighting ability, I think. It's smaller than a T-54 but has the same camo as a Patton.

You forgot to mention however, that a freaking KV-3 can take 25-30% off a Tier 9 frenchie and pen it reliably. They can put out massive hurt, but I've solo-killed 2 Bat-Chats in my IS. French mediums are like lights, quite honestly.

While I admit that the Gatling gun that some French tanks have is truly annoying I would fall on the side of not nerfing them.  I really do believe that this is a case of some players whining so much that that Wargamming perceived this as an issue (which it isn't).  I will laugh if the excuse is to bring the vehicle more historically in line.

this frickin blows man.....i love the french tanks. they arent op at all. people just need to learn where and when to shoot them. i play french tanks and i personally like shooting french tanks, its so ez to kill them. people r just stupid, always complaining and whining about how thing arent going their way. i got a suggestion for them,...GROW A SET, MAN UP A LIL, AND IF THAT DONT WORK THEN QUIT PLAYING...

As PrimeTime says... I just manned up and took it. I'm not fond of "nerfing" in any fashion to be honest. I'd rather have to adapt and change tactics to add a new element to your playstyle than to put a cork on anything and everything to appease the minority of complainers.

nerfed? is the 40 sec. loading not enough?..sigh...how can a player learned strategy if they don't take challenge,they want it the easy way,I just wonder why not grind a french tank like other do instead of complaining?
in that way they can take revenge if they hate french tank, In fact i would recommend to other player to play french tank and  the player who played french tank are more observant, careful w/ initiative..you will really learned.

the amx 90 needs a hp nerf it has 1k+ hp way to much hp for a light tank.
But every thing else I'm ok with
