With the new autocannon mechanics, I'd say go for the Pz2. Its 10 round burst with 4 sec drum reload will decimate any non French tank of its tier.

H35 French tier 2 should be an option. Nothing beats the enemy constantly pinging off of you.

I've had this happen to me in an M3 Lee. It was freaking incredible getting hit over 110 times in a tank like that.
But back to the point, I'd say the H35. It's definetly a fun tank.

H35 is pretty fun, if you don't mind being in one of the slowest vehicles in-game. If you haven't checked it out, the M2 light is a very fun little guy. You can mount either a "true" cannon, a mini machine gun (the 20mm), OR the machine gun: the 50 cal with a 40 round clip. Fun tank...

PzII for sure, it can actually bounce a few rounds off its frontal and angling makes it even better. the new autoloader makes this little guy ridiculous

M2... wait, thats not on here. Then its definitely the T2... uhh Tet.... Damn it, none of my favorite tanks are on here.
H35 is my choice, because the BT-2 makes me want to tear my hair out, T-26 is just ungodly bad, and I just have an unexplainable hatred of Pz2.

Panzer 35T is the best tier 2 tank. It's like a micro-MBT - it has speed, armor, and gun in decent quantities. It's quite a bit faster than a Panzer II, but the turret is a little slower.
As for TDs, the best one is the AT-1. The AP shells on both the 57mm and 76mm massacre anything it comes across.

i loved my bt-2 as a low tier, got 10 kills in one game with it i think, too bad it was before WoT put in the in-game recording feature

None of the above. The premium captured German H35 variant is the best, that's why they're removing it from the store.

H35 is the best of those listed. Best tier 2 is still the mini-Maus if you igore MM values.

As a break from upper tier battles, I bought a PzKpfw II. I think I like it. Not saying I expect this in all battles, but the very first match:
Victory!
Battle: Province Friday, August 10, 2012 22:51:14
Vehicle: PzKpfw II
Experience received: 1,764 (x2 for the first victory each day)
Credits received: 14,683
Battle Achievements: Scout, Confederate, Mastery Badge: "2nd Class"
I only had one kill, but the team worked together very well.

The H35 is horrible. So slow. Bad gun. And when you don't have skewed prem-MM, your armor does often nothing.
Tetrarch is the best.
For autocannons, go for M2 LT; autocannons lose penetration really dramatically with distance, so being able to move 60km/h (with reasonable armor to boot) is a recipe for nice hit-and-runs. I usually take about 90% of a an enemy tank's health in the few seconds it takes to empty the clip, drive to cover, reload, rinse and repeat. Autocannons are also better when you actually have the mobility to flank the tanks that have armour on the front.
Having said that, the BT-2, PzII and Pz35t are all good options too. Depends on what suits your playstyle.

Win or lose my Pz II seems to always kick butt.
It has good speed, good maneuverability, a good amount of armor on the front and when you get in close with that autocannon, you'll take off half the guy's hitpoints in about 3 seconds which scares the hell out of anyone.
I've actually put equipment and a camo scheme on mine. I think I usually run vents, camo and binocs on mine. I can't remember if it can get a GLD or that it it would help all that much. All the other equipment seems meh on it.

BT-2
Get to chose from the best 37mm,or the TNSh for autocannon.
Also has excessive horsepower (44 HP : Ton,highest in game).
