As it is most people think the T30 is the worst tier 10. When it goes to tier 9 TD, if it keeps the same stats, we will get a crappy TD with no armor, camo,and not enough speed to make a difference. Just because it was a terrible tier 10 doesn't mean the devs should just screw it even more and make it a tier nine, because then it will be even worse against tanks on its tier and up. I think the T30 should get a speed buff, and the AT version of the T7, the one the T95 has. It should also have a turret speed of at least 25, so it would have an advantage at dealing with medium tanks(compared to the other Tier 9's). Why a speed buff? First off all, because the lower tiers in the 2nd TD line are going to be VERY fast, so the T30 should follow that trait. 2nd off all, it would be the fastest tier 9 TD, which would give it somewhat of an advantage. As for the gun, the T30's version of the T7 is considered "buggy". It makes a lot of strange bounces and "Ghost Shells". I would know, because I bounced a T30 shot off of my stock KV-3. As far as I know the T95's gun has none of these problems. As for camo, the T30 is huge, it should have only a bit more camo than a Jagdtiger, that is, next to none. Nothing can change that. However, I think if the T30 recieved all these buffs, it would be a nice TD (even if it does only get 1600 hp).

But anyway I think the T30 should be greatly modified if it will stand up to a "TD" standard. It will need serious camo increase as well as a better gun. It will need more speed (maybe as a purchase-able engine...).

i think i read somewhere that armour will stay same , but its gona get more anlged ! so that means more chance for a bounce and speed buff , and JT camo but nothing is sure until 7.2 is up and running

the model is not changing at all. They are simply taking the T30, reducing HP, tweaking some combat stats, then throwing it into TD spot. It will have the same armor, same slope, same gun(tho probably T7 AT variant), and be pretty much the same tank. It is unlikely it will have better camo and no chance it will be faster. Probably slower if anything. But it will be teir 9.....

all that is to be expected now it is a tier 9 td not 10 tank. too keep uits's stats blus it's td bonuses would be op.

It probably won't be a frontline TD (not that the old T30 was good at that anyway) like T95. It'll be like an Object 704 with a turret.

Also keep in mind that Tier 9 TDs also have a lighter weight in the matchmaker than both Tier 9 Heavies and Tier 9 Mediums.
