It is possible to change the length of the day-night cycle, and what time of day of game starts. Adjust the following parameters to meet your desire:
<day_night_cycle>

		<hourlength>35.000000</hourlength>
		<starttime>13.500000</starttime>

Use the attached tool. When it is unpacked, you will see an icon called Project1. Double click. A blank gui will open, which has a button with ?????? on it. Click that to navigate to the file you want to explore.

Attached Files

  • Attached File   Wot_XML_Converter.rar   240.62K

I managed to do it with out your correct tool... just wanted to give you some feedback so others know what to use but I guess that was too picky. <_<

not a bad but the ground and things are too bright, it looks weird when you have a night sky.

Wait, people use a tool to edit XML files? or is there some kind of weird encrypting algorithm WG uses on their files?

Edited: Clarified "They", and corrected Spelling.

Question: I'm wanting to find out how to slow the transition between day and night, do I increase the number, or decrease it?

Pathway is C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.7.1.1\system\data <----- all files should go in here.
