Assuming your folder path looks exactly like this:
C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.7.1.1\system\data\ALL THOSE MULTIPLE FILES
it should be working. Some maps don't change to very dark. The ones that change the most are Mines, Malinakova and Erlenberg. However, the change won't happen until 6-8 minutes into the game.

i put them in there, because the res_mod folder didnt have system or data folders,

All mods (with the exception of sound mods) must be set up through res_mods. You will create those sub-folders when you set up your mod in res_mods.

jost tested it out with my Tetrarch. Malinovka tier 1|2 battles(=get very long) and the day effect looks awesome, night too, i could see stars etc. thanks for makin' this mod

This mod is ridiculously awesome! It's one of those mods that makes you ask yourself, why isn't this in the game? lol Ty for finding it/ty to the mod maker. B)

Yes. Path is X:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.7.2\system\data <----- this folder.

Ah, let me rephrase, are the two new maps mod'd for this yet? It appears the "44_north_america" map at the least is not in.

well logic dictates that will you would have to do is get the xml file from the database, and then add the lines required to enable this feature.

BTW, 7zip can open the archives last I checked, but I cannot repack them.


Edit: Apparently 7zip cannot correctly decompress the xml files, nvm this wont work, we have to wait for the Russians to come out with a new version of the mod.

I used a XML decompiler I found on the RU forums a while ago to pull the files that I needed and edited them.

I, as well. Did you consider using the full night effect for the North American map? Only issue for Campania is that the sun is fixed in the skymap.

tweaking of the colors would be needed, I will play around with them later tonight. It would be nice to have the full stars and moon effect, but these maps don't have the effect to be able to be run. Right now, it's pretty much like a cloud effect moving shadow's and the cloud like shadows. On Campania, I believe it does get pretty dark on it, I lost my attention when playing on it because my clan mate was shooting me up.
