Let me see if I can fix this:
Quote
The T-10 (also known as Object 730) was a Soviet heavy tank of the Cold War, the final development of the KV and IS tank series. It was accepted into production in 1952 as the IS-10 (Iosif Stalin, Russian form of Joseph Stalin), but due to the political climate in the wake of Stalin's death in 1953, it was renamed T-10.

So, is the object 252 or is-6 coming out at the same time as the second line? 7.3?

Hmm yeah IS-8? How the heck is that gonna work?
IS4 going to stay tier 9? I guess they could promote it then demote it but why would they?
Either way SWEET!!! more tanks more tanks more tanks! I will never complain about more tanks.

Either way SWEET!!! more tanks more tanks more tanks! I will never complain about more tanks.
Here's what they're gonna do:
2. Replace IS-3 with IS-6.
3. Take away IS-4.
4. Replace IS-4 with IS-7.
5. Make IS-8 Tier 10.
UPDATED: Oh, I noticed it said SECOND Russian Heavy Line.
UPDATED:
1. Put all the new Russian tanks in the new Russian Line.

The gun on the IS-8 looks like the one from the T-10:
It appears to be a M-62-T2 L/43 gun with five-baffle muzzle brake equipped on a T-10M (1957).

That little device next to the gun looks like some GPS guiding device for the shell http://forum.worldof...e_veryhappy.gif

I don't care I just want it to happen
So I can play the new tanks and deside which KV to keep
I ran up the Russian tree first and have had all 3 replacemant tanks waiting for this patch
Man just get the American one out too
I think 7.2 is releasing the 13th

The IS-8 is the same thing as the T-10.
"Two major revisions were made to the IS-8 before production began in 1953 as the T-10. Although equipped with a vertical gun stabilizer, the tank could not engage targets on the move. In 1957 the T-10M was introduced with a new engine, V-12 SB and a new gun, 122mm M62T2 with a distinctive multi-baffle muzzle brake. However, rate of fire was only 2-3 rounds/min."

I'm hoping that they're not incredibly hard to pen like the IS7. Even when i try to pinpoint certain areas that i know are weak spots, i still ricochet.
What are the hull stats on the IS-8 and ST-1?

As I explained earlier, the IS-10 is the T-10, officially. IS-8 was the early development prototype.
The confusion comes from the development of the IS-10, which started as IS-8, then IS-9, with minor versions as IS-10A, IS-10B, IS-10M and M2. But the IS-10 was renamed to T-10, due to political changes in the USSR.
IS-10 (called Object 730) was the last tank in the IS series.
During the development versions had the names IS-8 and IS-9.
After Stalin's death in 1953 the name changed to T-10. Type 1 produced 1954-57. Total production unknown. A, B and the M-versios in 1962. 1963 equipped for under water driving to a depth of 5 m. Speed of fire was slow (3-4 shells/min) because the shells were devided and had to be put together before loading. The gun was rather immobile (upwards) when going downhill. Until 1980 the best protected Soviet tank and a T-10 shell could penetrate 450 mm thick amour at a range of 2000 m. The M-model had ABC-protection and infrared seeker for combat at night. In 1995 it was renamed into IS-10. With 122mm gun, except the IS-10-M2 variant that uses an 130mm gun.
Variants are IS-10, IS-10-A, IS-10-B, IS-10-M, and IS-10-M2
General Characteristics
Weight: 52 tons
Length: 10,6/7,04 m
Height: 2,43 m
Width: 3,57 m
Armor: 20-250 mm
Gun: 122 mm
Engine: 12/520 kW
Speed: 42 km/h
Range: 250 km
Crew: 4
COST PER UNIT: R1.160.000

Bottom line: IS-8 is NOT T-10, but the very first prototype, which differed greatly from the final version of the IS-10.
