I can only confirm that 7.2 will not be releasing in February.

WG, do me a favor, never give ETA's or timelines again, you can't keep them.

It will be here soon enough for everyone to pick apart, me included.

I gave you neg rep because it's a free game and I'm tired of people complaining about something that's free. Life is tough and if this is your first experience with being let down as an adult, then you have a wonderful life. Just look at it as extra time for you and/or others to grind for the tanks that are being moved.

Actually, I pay for this game. I've bought a Type 59, tons of gold ammo, converted xp, and also 9 months of premium status.

I don't need time to grind new tanks, I already have a T30 and a T34.

It will probably be coming in mid to late march

*Cares nothing about T30 or T34*

So I guess this means I won't be getting tier 10 IS4 until May or something?

I personally don't care if it comes today or next month, but Wargaming as a company needs to have some integrity and needs to take responsibility about what they say and what is actually done. Just don't go round building up anticipation then at the last minute just go, aww nah, we'll just delay it and not stick to our words.

If I had an employee who consistently failed to deliver on promised ETA's, we would have a serious talk.

youre probably not working on software.

when i started playing in beta the game was supposedly going to be released in fall and actually was released 6 months later. so a two week-month delay for a patch doesnt seem bad in comparison, i would take any Wargaming ETA as a vague estimation.

I've done a variety of tech jobs, from network engineer, server admin, backup admin, security, etc.

none of those are software development, which is notorious for missing estimated dates.

you can look at the WG estimated timeline for 2012 here, and see that some features are coming out close to the dates they say, some are already 6 months late.

And that is why I said, don't give ETA's anymore. Look at Blizzard, Diable III has no release date, look at their patch history with World of Warcraft, no ETA's.

Is anyone surprised? I'd frankly be shocked if it even came out in March.

So, what does "ETA" stand for?

So your position is that it's better to have no information as the customer? Sure, giving ETA's can bite you but as a player I'd much rather have the estimate than not.
