Controls "Sticking"

Hello, just last night i noticed that i would let go of the forward key (w) and my tank would keep going, i knew it wasn't lagging (checked the box and i know my internet) and i managed to stop the tank by double clicking the forward button. I moved forward again (do note i had no damage as the fighting had not begun) and when i tried to turn i wouldn't respond. It was like there was a 3ish second delay on all the controls but some still wouldn't do anything (driving forwards and trying to turn) I had to tap the controls a few times to get it to work. The closest thing i could compare it to is the keys sticking, but they were fine. I have heard others were having the same problems. If it is a new mechanic, it is horrible, if it is a bug please fix it as it is hard to play with. I also didn't have the cruse control on, (R and F).

Those are the lag signs in a game... forget the meter in this case. Was your Antivirus running ?

The meter in game is not realistic. The game client could be lagging due to anti-virus or if you're running downloads at the same time. I notice if I have my browser open or if I'm downloading an app or connected to work when I play, I have a lag in the controls than when I have all my apps closed and just play the game.
try disabling your anti-virus and closing any unnecessary network apps and browsers.

Its not lag. I know what you mean. I just kept going forward eventhough i was not pushing forward on no "r". It took a good minute to get it to respond

This has also happened to me. Forward and turns both. The fix is to hit the key that is in the same direction that you got stuck in, as you pointed out. I'm not entirely sure why it does this, but it doesn't happen often.

This actually happened a couple times to me yesterday as well...
It was different than your normal lag as i could still move my turret.
It's like my gas pedal kept getting stuck

I'm having this issue too...with a 35 ping...and my lag light is green. I'm assuming it's INSANE packet loss. I can't even play.

same issue, i crt/alt/del and force close client, then reload client fast to get back in game. Usually clears it up for about 10 games or so.
It only happens at the start of a game, never ever even 10 sec later. Something with the initial start or loading of battle i guess. If it doesn't happen in the beginning it never happens later in the battle.

I am also experiencing this. I've never really lagged at this game. My computer is a power house, and my cable internet has never been a problem. If I'm turning and lift off the button I keep turning even after spazzing out on the keyboard, then after x amount of time it will stop. Turning in a circle, keeps turning etc..etc..etc.. Can't really play competitively like this??? I definitly would say that this problem is server side!

What keyboards is everybody using? most cheap keyboards can not recognize more than 2 keypresses at once, and could be glitching. I have had it happen in many things. the "Fix" of pressing the problem key just resets the sensor output.

Sudden disconnections causes your tank, and every other vehicle around it to slowly come to a halt.
Packet loss causes teleporting tanks.
High latency causes delayed controls.
Perhaps your connection experienced a moment of high latency, or even disconnected for a few seconds.
Is your keyboard wireless? If so, check the batteries.
I don't see how this could be a 'program' bug, so the problem's either on the user's end or serverside; and I doubt that it's serverside - didn't they just upgrade the server technology recently?

if they did recently upgrade the server, thats all the more reason a bug like this could be occuring, its the new stuff which brings new errors, old stuff doesnt usually make new errors

My ping was 15-40ms, and Frame rate was anywhere from 50-100+fps when it was happening to me. Every tank around me when it was happening was acting normally. I've never seen teleporting tanks. This problem happened 2 days straight to me at random, but was still making me very angry.

have lost control of the driving many times, can't stop or turn, but still have control of turret and gun, no DC no lag. Game continues to run smooth at the time.
