This is a bummer! I had no interest in the KV-4 because I thought it was just going to be an upgraded KV-5. When I saw the pictures and heard about the 130mm on it, I started driving my KV-3 again to build up exp. points to research it. The MM has made my once loved KV-3 a pain and I don't want an under-gunned, rolling barn door at tier 8.

How many exp. points do you think it will take to research it from the KV-3?  I was aiming for 85,000.

So news is out that its actually getting a long 107mm with 227mm pen, 320dmg & good RoF, aim time & accuracy.

So its roughly like BL9 but not actually.

While I was disappointed not to get a sweet 130mm alpha blaster, this is going to be very good but in a very different way & much more interesting than BL9.
I really am looking forward to KV4.

As far as I know, the Zis-6 was the only 107mm weapon tested by the Russians.  I wouldn't be surprised though if there's some other prototype cannon.  However, I believe the one we see on the KV-4 right now is fictional.
