Troll-50 series dominate everything in the art of scout .
I don't know about tier 3 , because i used free xp and skipped them , so most of my experience was after tier 4 .

Well, what do you want? A pure scout tank? 50-2. A light tank that can tangle with equal tier heavies and still do some damage? AMX 13 90.

their is no 'best' tank, a tank is only as good as the tanker in it

Also, it's important to consider what the tanks are being used for.  The T-50 series are good scouts, while the Americans can do some pretty good damage, and turn fast.  Never tried the germans yet.

The majority of the french light to medium line are hybred scouts as well.

The T-50 and T-50 dash two are the best scouts - But the Chaffee can go out and damage tier 9 heavies without any trouble. The Luchs and the M3 Stuart are basically the same on speed - view range - turning nad the like the the Juchs get a better gun with slower fire rate and the stuart get a less damage faster fire but a slightly less pen. Then you have the Tier 4's all of them are basically obsolete only the T-50 and Leopard can scout properly in Tier 9 battles. but the Leopard always wins in tier 4 battles and the like though the M5 herp derp does pretty well when it comes to derping tier 2 to 4's.

Tier III: I prefer the M3. Fast, manuverable, and fairly decent armor. Gun is a bit lacking, but it does its job. I've had several matches where I make over 15k credits in it (premium).

Tier IV and V: it depends on what you want. The T-50 is king of Tier IV scouts, but its gun is lacking against anything but arty. M5 is worse in terms of mobility, but it has a better gun (a 75mm howitzer). Same is basically true between the T-50-2 and Chaffee it appears.

AMX 13 90. i agree it depends on the tanker and what tanks he's good with but thats a light thats fast, decent armor, great gun for a light and can fight heavys and still win.

There is only one mistake in your post: The AMX 13 90 has completely useless armor.

Too true. For an accurate representation, follow the steps below.

Materials needed: lots of paper, lots of dead flies or other small insects such as bees, some glue or double-sided tape, blue spray paint, model of AMX 13

1. Fold ands/or glue the paper into the shape of the hull of an AMX 13. Be sure it's accurate.

2. Take one dead fly (or other insect). Place glue or tape on back of insect.

3. Please insect on the paper.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until model is evenly coated.

5. Use your spray paint to paint your tank blue.

6. If needed, please turret, BB gun and engine in or on tank.

Viola! You now have a representation of the armor of an AMX!

Ok, I know the amx 13 90 is the best but its pretty much a med. The only reason it says light is because of the armor. And I was talking about lights in the light tank line.
