Okay, so I'm aware that lots of people love to slam the Easy 8 as a bad tank. However, every tank is a bad tank if not played properly. I have experienced epic battles where (as part of) a five tank wolf-pack of Easy 8s annihilates the enemy team. When a pack of Easy 8s starts circling a heavy tank, that heavy is dead     . The Easy 8 may excel at long range support, but it becomes hell on wheels at close range with a shell slammer, gun stabilizer, and improved ventilation. At close range (100-200 yards) with the stabilizer, the Easy 8 can achieve amazing accuracy, even at top speed   . If you ever run into a wolf-pack of Easy 8s, you'll understand what I mean.

the e8 is a fantastic tank.

E8 is nice, but I prefer my M4A3E2. Defeated an IS by myself, just kept circling him    Then, just as soon as I fired the killing shot I got waxed by a KV with a 152

I have it as Elite in my Garage and permanent painted cammo. It’s great to run and is a good sniper too. I don't think of ever getting rid of it.

E8 is definitely a great tank. There's something so rewarding about putting a round into a tank every 2.75 seconds and not having to reload a clip.

It's a great tank, but I think it lost some of its novelty after the French tanks were released.

Funny, because it's still much better than the AMX 12t, with which it shares matchmaking range.  Anyways, it still has on-the-move accuracy, which is its real novelty feature at tier 6, IMO.

I once took out two unscratched Tiger IIs with the help of a Hummell.  Idiots were parallel to each other and first KT missed me, i blasted his side and used him as cover from the other KT.   Predicted when he was gonna shoot and saved a shot to blast him as i moved and he missed again.  Hummel finished him off and i just rinsed and repeated with the other KT.  Just out in the open with those two and a the Hummel on my team and i rolled out of there unscathed.  Easy 8 is the shit and anyone who doesn't think so just sucks at driving it.

The E8 is a decent tank

Today a a Pz 3/4 + 2 <priest> and I held of a far heavier force of 1 T14, 1 panther, 1 hetzer, 2 VKs  on the snow map. I played bait and kept ducking around the rock at base shooting with my 105 most of the enemies stood still trying to snipe me need and failed to notice the amount of arty shells landing on them. I killed 2 of them and arty mopped up the rest. Love how mobile it is after having played the M4A3E2 for 3 days the E8 feels like a sports car

Meh, I never much cared for mine. It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't anything to write home about for me.

I never get why there is even the question of, "which is better the Easy 8 or the Jumbo?".  If you took ten good Easy 8 players and put them against ten good Jumbo players the Easy 8 players would win at 8 out of 10 times.

Only if enough of them live long enough to flank the jumbo's.....

I'd have to agree, the Jumbo turns very fast and is hard to flank.  But the Easy Eight fares better against higher tier tanks, assuming it can penetrate them.

he probably fights E2 with 105, in which that's possible

an E2 with 76mm butchers E8 and any other T6 medium for breakfast indeed though.

I've got camo on mine too and enjoy playing it.  

Which is better the E2 or E8?  Its the one you like playing. Every tank has its strengths and weaknesses but the one you like to play is the best tank.  Even if you lose.  This is a game after all and we are supposed to be here to have fun.  So drive the one you like and that is the best. For me the E8 is fun and the camo makes it look cool.

Same here, I have seen people say that the KV is useless or the Tiger-II is pointless but I have never seen a thread that says the E8 is a bad tank. Thinking about it, yeah, it just got me.....I have never seen a E8 hate thread.......it's just a........good tank...

to specify, lots of people slam the sherman in general, so if they see the EZ8 they think "Sherman = sucks"...btw i love to prove them wrong

The main tactic for using an EZ8 is flanking anyway...

I've got more than 1,300 games in my Easy 8. I don't have the greatest stats in it, but I'll never sell it. I just have too much fun in it.
